Engagements

Start small.
Keep what works.

Three ways to work with MuniLink, from a one-off readiness check to ongoing support. Each one is scoped after a short discovery call, because the right size depends on your workflow, sample and audit timing.

Three engagements

What each one involves.

Most municipalities start with a readiness check. Nothing larger is proposed unless the check shows it is worth it.

After a check

One-workflow rehearsal

Scoped after discovery

A practice run of an audit-style request against one workflow, so the team can produce the file in order before it counts.

What it involves

  • Audit-style request drafted from your scope
  • Timed retrieval with your team
  • Gaps fixed and re-checked where possible
  • Debrief with the workflow owner

You receive

  • Rehearsal notes
  • Updated evidence map
  • Fix list with owners and dates
Your team's time: a planned rehearsal window and a debrief

Through audit season

Ongoing evidence support

Scoped after discovery

Regular check-ins to keep one or more workflows audit-ready through the year, rather than rebuilding files at year-end.

What it involves

  • Periodic sample checks on agreed workflows
  • Help responding to evidence requests
  • Filing conventions kept current
  • Short status note for the CFO or internal audit

You receive

  • Regular status notes
  • Running evidence map
  • Early warning on new gaps

What we will not do: promise audit outcomes, sign or alter municipal records, or replace your internal audit or the Auditor-General. Readiness work helps your team present evidence that already exists, and find gaps early.
Why no price list

What shapes the scope.

We would rather give you an accurate written scope than a number that does not fit your situation.

01

The workflow and sample size

Five award files is a different piece of work from fifty.

02

Where the records live

One records system, or a mix of email, shared drives and paper.

03

Your audit timing

How long there is before the next milestone, and when your team is available.

04

Travel and access

On-site, remote, or a mix, agreed up front.

How to engage

From first call to kickoff.

01

Book a discovery call

20 minutes on Teams or by phone about the workflow, your audit milestone and who owns the evidence. See what to bring.

02

Receive a written scope

Sample, outputs, timing, access needed and cost, in a format your SCM unit can work with.

03

Your SCM process applies

Your supply chain unit runs the procurement. Your SCM policy and thresholds decide the route, not us.

04

Kick off with a named owner

Work starts once there is an appointment and a named municipal owner for the workflow.

Not sure which fits?

Start with a 20-minute call.

Tell us the workflow and your next audit milestone. We will recommend the smallest engagement that would actually help, or tell you if you do not need one.
